As spring comes, I’m remembering who I am, how I want to live. I wrote down in my journal what is most important to me – not causes, priorities, but my manner of being.
In order:
- Following spontaneous inspiration
- Sleep enough, exercise, eat well
- Romantic relationship
- Taking care of my own spirit (being happy, quiet time, journaling)
- Building a team in my work
- Taking care of my “customers” in work
- Follow up with people
(well that’s about as much as my mind can contain, but there is the rest of the list, in order:)
- Keep a song in my head
- Allow myself to really feel what I’m feeling
- Approach People
- Set high expectations for myself
- Get out there and DO, even when I feel stuck
- Welcome people
- win
- Be thankful
- Be happy and charming to myself
- Be productive
- Finish the day – don’t leave unfinished business
- Make money
- Set goals
Reads like a nice set of New Years resolutions for the next 10 years, doesn’t it. These are things I’d like to do better at, in case you hadn’t surmised, and I think I can, too. (except for #2, which is so much of a bedrock that I had to keep it in there).
